物語 · OUR STORY
He was a homeless pup I fostered through Ohana Rescue Paws. It didn’t take long to fall in love, and he became my rescue pup for good.
He’s also the reason INUYA exists. Here’s how it all began.

Halloween bento
The inspiration for INUYA began during my visits to Japan, where I loved helping my friends prepare homemade meals for their dogs.
Seeing the love and care they put into each meal, and watching their dogs enjoy long, happy lives, made me curious about a different way of feeding our pets.
After losing my previous dog to stomach cancer sooner than I had hoped, I became more mindful of what went into my dogs’ bowls.

Dukey, quality control
Then came Dukey, my rescue pup with a sensitive stomach.
He often struggled with digestive issues while eating kibble, so I started preparing fresh, homemade meals for him. Over time, I noticed his tummy troubles improved, which encouraged me to keep cooking.
What began as cooking for one very loved dog eventually became INUYA, combining two of my greatest loves: cooking and dogs.
Inspired by Japanese home cooking, every meal is thoughtfully handmade in small batches with fresh ingredients and lots of love.
From my kitchen to your pup’s bowl♡
